Important Notice if you wish to send packages to SMEI-India other than letter or catalogue mail: SMEI's headquarters are located in Bangalore. All packages sent to India are subject to inspection by Bangalore Customs and may be subject to duty and taxes. Guidelines for sending packages are as follows:
Unsolicited packages containing product: Goods such as samples, media, books, tapes, CD-ROM's, promotional products, etc. must be sent by UPS, FedEx or other courier service to the Bangalore address below with a declared value and any brokerage, applicable taxes and duties prepaid by the sender. Unsolicited packages not meeting these requirements will be returned to the sender.
Solicited courier or mail packages containing product: This category is for goods specifically ordered or requested by SMEI-India. These packages must contain a declaration of contents including the value of the goods enclosed and the country of origin. The required document is commonly referred to as a "Commercial Invoice".
